Dealing with Mold

Did you know that mold is preventable if your water loss is addressed right away?  When you notice a water intrusion like a roof leak or toilet leak it is best to take care of it as soon as you notice it.  Mold can quickly become a problem if an intrusion is left untreated. Health concerns can arise in anyone due to excessive mold. SERVPRO of Thousand Oaks is trained and equipped to handle any mold problem. SERVPRO mold technician will inspect the loss before any work can take place.  The mold process will be discussed prior to the start of work. Our crew will be suited in PPE during the process of this work. Containment(s) will be placed to prevent any further spread of mold and to isolate the contaminated area. Inside of the containment a negative air machine will be installed to prevent any mold spores from spreading during the removal process of affected materials. An air scrubber will be placed inside of the containment once affected materials are removed to capture any mold spores out of the air. Please be advised every job can have different scenarios and will need to be evaluated by a SERVPRO professional.
